The Publick Theatre is an amphitheatre on a man-made island in Christian Herter Park. We have set in stadium seating in the center section (like you'd see at Fenway park) and benches with backs on the side sections. Season passes allow you to see the shows on whichever dates YOU choose, no need to lock in dates in advance. All tickets are general admission. Bring a picnic and arrive early for best choice of seating.
Rain Policy - We will try and post notice on our outgoing voice mail - 617-782-5425 of a rain-out well in advance of curtain time- generally no later than one hour prior to curtain. If you have purchased tickets on-line for a show that gets rained out at any point before the final bow, we will honor your ticket (or ticket stub) at any performance throughout the summer season. If a show gets rained out during a performance, just save your ticket stub and come back to see the show again on a clear night. It's that simple.
